African Graduate Students Forum hosts African Night

The walls of the Tate Reception Hall were decorated with African flags on Saturday, Feb. 22, representing the various native countries for members of the African Graduate Students Forum at the University of Georgia. Food, fashion and music from Africa filled the room, creating a mosaic of diverse cultures for the AGSF’s African Night celebration.

To start the event, the AGSF executive board introduced themselves before opening the activities with a Kahoot game. Attendees were quizzed with questions on African countries, dances, food and quotes from famous African leaders like Nelson Mandela.
