This domestic field study examines the legal, financial, cultural, and demographic conditions for companies conducting international business in Georgia, with a particular focus on logistics and supply chain. Students visit the state Capitol, companies, and nonprofit organizations in select cities that may include the US Commercial Service and EXIM Bank, US Small Business Association’s International Division, World Trade Center, Georgia Ports Authority in Savannah, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, to name a few. Previous programs have toured multinational corporations such as Home Depot, Kia Motors, and Coca-Cola, giving participants the valuable opportunity to learn about global ventures and network with executives within the state of Georgia.
