Hosted by the Mary Frances Early College of Education

Thursday, November 11th (11:00a.m.-12:00p.m.)

Katie Koo, an assistant professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services in the Mary Frances Early College of Education, will demystify unique experiences, challenges, and struggles that international students face in U.S. higher education by presenting her longitudinal research on international students’ mental health and well-being during COVID-19. Dr. Koo will unfold real stories and honest conversations from international students on their lives in the U.S. and suggest culturally sensitive support that faculty and administrators can provide for international students on campus in the COVID-19 era.
